Interesting note. The common image of Che that people use and see is actually a copyrighted image, with the copyright being granted by the High British Court in a controversial case. So I used a public domain picture, licensed as such by Cuba, and rendered my own artistic interpretation to use. I then rendered my own artistic interpretation of an Obama image, and used them in image I designed for t-shirts.

I’m not really paying attention to the intricacies of this whole charade – but I think he is more of a socialist then a communist. Where the hell is Ross Perot anyhow? Shit at this point I’d write in Paris Hilton – at least she has some decent international contacts in her Sidekick.

Of course you are right about him being a socialist, but remember that, according to Marxist theory, socialism is merely a stepping stone between capitalism and communism. The kind of economic ‘sharing of the wealth’ that Obama is promising is very much the same kind of socialism that Hitler promised the victims of a failing economy in Germany. Hitler, however, used the power he seized during that time to shift Germany into fascism. Fascism is of course a whole other thing from socialism, but it shows that capitalism is always at risk when the people decide that it is easier to vote for more money in their pockets than to work for it.

As Thomas Jefferson once said, “Democracy is but mob rule where 51% of the people can legally rob the other 49%” You know, we spent the better part of half a century fighting a cold war against that kind of economic/political system, and now half our country is begging for it.

It would have broke Ronald Reagan’s heart.
